Iwa Moto is tapped to play the main villain role in the new TV version of Darna. She is now known as Valentina, the half woman/snake nemesis of Darna, portrayed by Marian Rivera.

As early as now, a lot of people are criticizing the show specifically Iwa’s costume. Hmmmm… will our Iwa pull it off? Darna premieres on August 10 at GMA Telebabad.

According to Lolit Solis’ article at Pinoy Parazzi, Iwa Moto was chosen to play the prime villain role in Marian Rivera’s new show. If this is true, we wish Iwa goodluck! Maybe she can pull it off. I hope she will!
